Growing up I never really cared much for online multiplayer games, be it competitive or cooperative. I was kind of a awkward guy back then, not knowing how to properly interact with people.
That and most online multiplayer games didn't appeal to me that much or have that BS "pay-to-play" thing. I wish I can play games like World of Warcraft but apart from taking forever to do one thing it's the subscription fee that turns me off.
With the exception of one...
This was my first exposure to the MMO genre and I'm glad it was because this was one of the most fun and interesting experiences I had.
Created by former Blizzard employees that also worked on the Diablo series brought us a story that take place in a dark post-apocalyptic demon infested future. Think Terminator but replace machines with Hell and it takes place on London.
Actually looking back on it now I don't know if counts as a MMO but I can play with other people if I want to so I guess it counts? I don't know MMO could have a very specific look and feel.
I would explain more about it but I'm afraid I won't give it justice so here someone that could.
Nothing else for me to say except Remember The Dead, but Fight for The Living!
